Every spring, simultaneous with Tehran international book fair, some independent publishers held uncensored book fairs in Europe and some USA states and Canada. In last year's book fair, in 2018, Tinush Nazmjoo, energetic and thoughtful owner of "Utopiran Naakojaa" Publishing House, decided to start an "Uncensored Magazine" project, and he chooses me for layout design. "Uncensored Magazine" is supposed to be a quarterly that focuses on censorship in literature. A Journal with views set on suppressed individuals, novels that have been torn apart, concealed everyday routines, and the unspoken words that are heavy on the heart. The ultimate goal of Uncensored Magazine is to create an open space for every writer to pen what they are and not what they aim to be.
"Uncensored Magazine" was a very challenging experience for me. I had almost 3 weeks to design the basic structure, different details of every 12 chapters, and layout all 180 pages. Still, my enthusiasm for every publishing-related project and passion for the most challenged one make me accept to design "Uncensored Magazine." My favorite chapter is a tweeter that completely looks like the original tweeter pages. I put every content as a tweet, with different user accounts, likes and retweets counter, similar account's suggestion, and many other details. "Uncensored Magazine" is published in 3 languages, French, English, and Persian, and it will be available worldwide with post service.
